Facing the threat of cholera outbreaks in Lebanon, the Ihab Matar Development Group conducted awareness campaigns in various areas within Tripoli (Tebbaneh, Al Minah, Qalamoun, Mankoubin, Abi Samra, Al Aswaq, and Zahriyeh). These campaigns targeted over 140 women, aiming to raise awareness about cholera symptoms, prevention strategies, identifying individuals at higher risk of complications, actions to take in case of cholera, and treatment methods. The goal was to minimize its spread and enhance disease prevention methods to avoid the costs associated with treatment.
