On the occasion of the declaration of Tripoli as the capital of Arab culture for the year 2024, and under the title: “To Al-Ula my university”, the activities of the first international conference entitled: “The Security of Arab Culture in the Humanities in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” were opened at the Lebanese University, specifically at the Faculty of Arts, Third Branch – Tripoli, in the presence of President Najib Mikati represented by Dr. Haitham Ezzedine, Shawky Sassine representing the Minister of Culture Mr. Muhammad Wissam Al-Murtada, representatives of the deputies, the Mufti of Tripoli and the North, Sheikh Mohamed Imam, Dean of the Faculty of Arts Dr. Heba Shendab, President of the Lebanese University Bassam Badran,Director of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (Third Branch) Dr. Muhammad Al-Hajj, The Director of the Office of MP Ihab Matar, Dr. Musa Al-Esh, along with other deans of faculties and university professors, participated in the conference. The conference, sponsored by the President of the Lebanese University and divided into five axes, included a scientific lecture by Al-Esh as part of the first theme, organized under the title: “Artificial Intelligence and the Crisis of Arab Culture’s Existence.”
